Get to know Voicebooks
Meet the teachers who created voicebook.cloud, the new platform which will transform your learners’ ability to listen to English.

Anthony Green
Ever since I arrived in Italy 30 years ago, I have been wondering what makes listening to English so complex for Italians. After many years of study and work, I have come to the conclusion that everything starts from the mistaken belief, often instilled in the minds of students, that English is an “easy language”. This leads to the mistaken idea that if you find it hard to understand spoken English means there is something wrong with you. No!
Voicebooks was created precisely to show these learners that there is nothing true about this belief and that, with the right method and a little perseverance, they will be perfectly capable of understanding and expressing themselves in English, by developing the crucial language competence of listening.

Domenico Bracciodieta
I have been teaching English for 30 years in high schools and I have always felt the need to bridge the gap between my students' reading/writing skills – which can sometimes be excellent – with their speaking and listening skills, the latter especially being very neglected. With Voicebooks we have been able to find a way of attracting learners to take part in listening activities that are at once interactive, playful and efficient, without having to reduce their “precious” classroom hours. My pupils choose when and how to use this platform, reach their goals without any pressure, and what they have learned is held in their long-term memory; I can monitor them remotely, evaluate their progress and their learning autonomy.
